Simeon waited his whole life for this moment. Anna prayed for decades. Both recognize Jesus instantly. Why? Because people who keep their eyes on God always recognize the Light when it appears. Simeon calls Jesus “a Light for revelation to the nations.” Jesus isn’t just the Light of Israel—He’s the Light of the world.
